March meeting info will be published in about a week.
Treadles to Threads and Spindles and Flyers have joined together to present four class opportunities with Sarah. Two mini classes will be offered as Guild Programs - one at each Guild. And, two workshops - one held in Walnut Creek and one held in San Francisco.
Sarah Anderson has published the book, "the Spinner's Book of Yarn Designs" shown to the left. She is very accomplished in her craft of spinning and you may have watched her videos on YouTube. We are fortunate that she will be down here for CNCH at Asilomar and is going to stay a bit longer to visit with both of our guilds.

Both workshops listed above have a limit of 18 people each, basically nine from each guild. If the allotted spaces for each guild are not filled, the spaces will be opened up to all. Our guild has chosen to fill the spaces on a lottery basis. Put your name in the workshop you desire and hope you are chosen. You can put your name in each one, BUT will only be allowed to take one space if you are chosen more than once. At our last meeting on Feb. 25th, some have already placed their names in.
Drawing for a space will be at the March 19th meeting. If you are unable to attend, please have someone else put your name in. You do not have to be present to win! You will be expected to send in a check as soon as possible to hold your space.
As a special treat for Treadles members only: Friday, April 17, 2015 Workshop, either 9 am to 3 pm or 10 am to 4 pm depending on what Sarah wants.
