ONE MORE REMINDER:
We are at the new location at Thurman Casey Library. See the August 26th post below for all the info. If you haven't been to the meeting room at this library before: as you drive into the parking lot, turn to your left and drive towards the back. There is a separate door to the meeting room towards the back of the building.Also note that the meeting time has been upped to 7:pm rather than the 7:30 that it used to be.
DUES - DUES - DUES
Just a reminder that dues for the year for Treadles are now due. Our Guild is a member of the Conference of Northern California Handweavers, and our yearly member update is due in October. Part of the advantage of being involved with CNCH is that our meetings are covered by their umbrella insurance plan, as well as getting a break on the registration fee if you participate in the yearly conferences. For this, we give them $5 per year, per member which contributes to the operating expenses of CNCH. If you have not checked out the CNCH web site lately, there is a link to it on the right of this blog. There is information about the upcoming conference, bits of info about other guilds and some interesting articles in "CNCHnet".
The dues are $25 or $30 for the year [sorry, I don't remember which!]
