TEXTILES IN FILM
Ever wonder who makes those great period costumes that you see in movies? Especially the ones that really catch your eye because you're thinking "that just has to be handwoven". Of course, the most famous of the "handwoven clothing" to all us textile buffs were the capes in "The Trilogy of the Ring", but that was not the only movie that has had attention to this type of detail. Mary B. sent this really interesting Smithsonian Magazine article to me and I think you will find it fascinating also.
