It was a beautiful day at the Farm. Members of Treadles to Threads spun while the sheep were sheared.

Welcome to Our Guild

We are an informal but active Guild that welcomes new and experienced spinners, as well as those who want to learn to spin. Meetings are Aug. - Nov., and Jan. - April.

Meetings are held at the Ygnacio Valley Library, 2661 Oak Grove Rd, Walnut Creek, CA 94598 on the last Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Meetings are also available via Zoom - the link is mailed out to guild members. As a guest, you can attend one meeting free before becoming a member, which entitles you to attend all meetings and workshops online or in person. $25 a year for single membership, $35 for family membership. MONDAY SPINNING meets Monday afternoons at members homes. Guild members contact Pam M. for information.

During 'regular' non-virus times:

We have a one or more dye days per year [different date every year]. May is also devoted to our annual fundraiser.

Monthly meeting are generally the last Wednesday of the month at 7 pm. But because we meet in a public library room, there can be a library event conflict, so dates are subject to change.

In addition to the monthly meetings, we meet every Monday afternoon at members' homes for spinning and tea. A great way to get help for beginners.
